HTML5 is the current and most advanced version of HyperText Markup Language.
If HTML gives the website it's structure - CSS gives it looks.
The way Wordpress websites are built is quite straightforward.

It is pretty much the same story with Foundation and WordPress as it was with Bootstrap and WordPress. Only difference is that the toolkit is changing. Depending on which works for you best you can then decide. It is good to know both Foundation and Bootstrap because there will be occasions where Foundation will offer more than Bootstrap and vice versa.
